 | Hamble Hounds aim is to help owners teach their dogs to behave in a socially acceptable way, and to help form a strong and rewarding bond between dog and owner.
We run various courses, give individual lessons and do home visits to suit the wide range of training, socialisation and behaviour needs for dogs of all ages and breeds. By using an educated, kind and structured approach, we teach dogs to become adept at behaving well in human society, at the same time as having a happy and fulfilling dog life. The great thing is that we don't need to shout, smack, choke or bully to get well behaved dogs, although handlers do have to put thought, consistency and effort into the training, it isn't miraculous!!
It’s a kind, fair and EFFECTIVE method of training, suitable for dogs of all ages and those with problems, phobias and other difficulties.
Whether you join in a class, or have an individual lesson, we will provide a safe and relaxed environment to practice in. As well as the practical work, we explain how dogs behaviour is formed and how they learn, so that you gain an understanding of the best ways to teach and motivate your pet. |
