Winkton is an ideal centre for those who like walking or leisurely motoring. For country lovers Burley and the New Forest are a few miles away. For those who want the sea Mudeford, Friars Cliff and Highcliffe are not far, while Bournemouth with miles of sand, lovely shops, theatres, cinemas and bowling rink are only seven miles away.
Golfing enthusiasts have a variety of links within easy motoring distance, amongst them Meyrick Park, Queens Park, Ferndown, Northbourne, Parkstone, Highcliffe, Burley, Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst.
Under the supervision of Ruth Keith and their team, the accommodation is provided in the coach house, and our speciality room in the main building. There are ground floor bedrooms for disabled access. The INN offers modern standards of comfort and amenities, a high standard of cuisine prepared from a varied selection of local fine foods, and a well stocked wine cellar to delight the hearts of those who appreciate gracious living. A selection of Fullers Real ale is served in the two lounge bars, which have the added comfort of log fires in the winter. For sunny days we have a large covered patio area with heaters if it gets chilly. There are car-parking facilities for up to 100 cars.WE ARE ALSO DOG FREINDLY IN OUR BAR AND PART OF OUR DINING AREA.
